Once again, I uploaded my talky blog last night, but never posted it on here. My bad, people. Here it is.
Today's actual blog to come very soon!

The End Of A Knight's Tale...
So, today has been a VERY interesting day! It started normally enough. I woke up at 11:00, watched The View, ate some lunch and chatted with some blog buddies.
Fast forward a few hours and then comes the news that Heath Ledger died! As you've all probably heard by now: He was found unconscious in his apartment surrounded by pills. He was pronounced at the scene, yada yada yada. The news is everywhere! It can't be expressed how tragic this is. He was 28 years old, and father of a 2-year old. He had so much left to accomplish in his life, and I know many all his family, friends, and fans are mourning his death today.
So, today's talky blog is all about Heath Ledger, and documenting all the information coming in. Enjoy...

Flipping Out (One Day Late)
Hey guys! Happy Saturday. I filmed a talky blog over 24 hours ago, and even put it up on YouTube yesterday; I just never got around to updating the blog.
So, here's YESTERDAY's talky blog. I'm not going to type much because I think the talky says it all. You might get another blog today, which will actually be today's!
Anyway, without further ado, yesterday's talky:

So Nocturnal
I usually post my blog much earlier than 11:50 at night, but I JUST woke up literally like 4 minutes ago. I came home, taped the blog (and edited and uploaded it while lunch was in the oven) and then I watched the View. I never made it out of that chair. I passed out probably around 4:00 and I'm waking up now. My sleep schedule is WAY off. Anyway, there's not much Monday left to enjoy, so have a great Tuesday guys!
Later!

Good, Good News!
So, the interview went very well at Ruby Tuesday today. I met two of the managers and they were both very nice, and I think they both liked me pretty well. I have a final interview with the General Manager on Tuesday.
In other news, watch Marcellas Reynolds on Style tonight at 7:00. It's the premiere of his new show called Shop Like A Star. If you don't know who Marcellas is, he's from Big Brother 3 (and All Stars) as well as a celebrity stylist and fashion consultant and all that. So, watch it. At least tonight. Do it for me. Thanks!
Don't have much else to say today. Everything's pretty much summed up in the video blog. So, have a great weekend, guys!

Desperate College Students
So, classes started for me today. I go from 10:00-1:00 as you guys know. It's Public Speaking, then Theatre Appreciation, and I end with American History II. Not such a hard schedule. And I have Psychology online, so I'm fine with it all.
I got a bit of a late start this morning because I was up WAY too late last night. I was up talking to a couple people until 5:00, and I didn't pry myself off the computer for another hour. So, that puts me laying down to go to bed at 6:00 and my alarm going off at 8:15. But I'm a "snoozer" meaning that I purposely set my alarm earlier than necessary, because I LOVE hitting snooze and rolling back over. I ended up getting out of bed around 9:15, and it takes me 20 minutes to get to school, so I had very little time to get ready. I actually shot some footage, but I sound drugged and delirious and it just wasn't cute.
But classes went swimmingly. My friend Lolly, whom I mentioned yesterday, well it turns out we have a class together and didn't know it! Then we hung out for a couple hours and got caught up and it seriously felt like the year and a half that it's been since I've seen her, never happened. I love this girl so much. So, today's video blog is me and Lolly riding around wonderful Elizabeth City. The first part is about school, and the second part is all about Desperate Housewives. Sorry, guys! We got carried away...if you get bored, you're free to cut it off. Although, I personally think it's entertaining regardless! haha
Oh, and I personally think I looked a hot mess in this video, but I'm putting it up anyway. (apologies for a few f-bombs here and there. We REALLY did get carried away...haha)
See you guys tomorrow for my interview with Nick at Ruby Tuesday. And I think it's really going to happen this time!

"Can You Call Back Later?"
So, today was supposed to be my interview at Ruby Tuesday, but that didn't happen. Check out today's video blog to find out all the details.
Anyway, I got ready and went to Ruby Tuesday, then got something to eat, and now I'm home relaxing before school starts tomorrow. I'm actually watching The View right now. And Morgan Freeman was on today! What a pleasant surprise. I've always thought he was amazing, but I have a new love for him after watching The Bucket List, which is easily my favorite movie in years.
There's not much else for me to talk about today, so I'll say goodbye for today and I'll see you guys tomorrow for my first day of classes at COA. And you'll get to meet Lolly, another great friend of mine. It should be fun.
So, I'll leave you guys with today's video blog about my experience with Ruby Tuesday today. What a day! Bye guys!

Three Amigos
What a great day today has been! I hope you can all say the same about this wonderful Wednesday. (I'm a sucker for alliteration.)
I woke up shortly before 11:00 today, which is definitely early for me. I had to set an alarm and everything. And today was the first time I watched The View when it actually aired as opposed to watching it on the DVR hours later like I usually do.
After watching The View, I got showered and got ready for the day. I met some friends in town at Three Amigos (one of our many Mexican restaurants) for a late lunch. We sat around and got caught up and swapped stories about all of our high school friends (and foes). It was SOOO much fun to see Crystal and Ashley again, and just hang out with people for the first time in so long! And can I just say how great it is that it was three friends at Three Amigos?! I love it. And I'm sure you do too.
Anyway, I did some more job hunting, and got some good news from Ruby Tuesday. The only bad thing about today was that I went from only having one cigarette yesterday to already having five today. And I'll probably have another before the day is done. But hey, I'm giving myself all semester, and I've been doing really good. It's my main vice, and it's going to take some time.
But other than that, today has been fantastic. So, I'll leave you with today's video blog and I will be back with even more fun stuff tomorrow (hopefully)!!!

When Colby Got His Groove Back
Happy Tuesday, everyone!
So, who watched the Critic's Choice Awards last night? I loved it. They have a lot less of the awards that no one cares about, and it was overall very entertaining. Ross was wonderful as always on the Red Carpet. Hairspray took home Best Ensemble and Nikki Blonsky won an award of her own. Juno was of course a huge winner, which only makes me want to see it more. (Has anyone NOT liked this movie yet?) I missed the after show, because I was watching the Awards on DVR, so the after show was over by the time I finished the ceremony.
There will be no video blog today. I'd love to tell you my schedule was just too packed, but I'm sure you'd see through that right away. But I am tired of just sitting around with nothing to do so I'm getting active. No more sleeping the day away, and staying up until all hours of the night. No more just sitting in front of the TV (and laptop) all day and night.
I got up earlier today (it's a gradual process) and had my first cigarette of the day. It also happened to be the last one in the pack, so I haven't had another yet. I got showered and got ready. I did watch The View from today and yesterday. God, it's good to have it back!
The ladies have been talking about the debates, Britney's insanity (is Dr. Phil even a real doctor?), parenting (with the return of Elizabeth from maternity leave), and so much more! I can not begin to express my love for this show, and especially for the always wonderful Whoopi Goldberg.
I worked some more on job applications and tomorrow is the day that I'm hitting the town to go put some more applications in. I'm dying to get a job, if not just for something to do. So, be prepared for a video blog from all over Elizabeth City tomorrow.
Now I'm off to grab my iPod and do some running on our elliptical machine. I WILL get active even if I'm stuck at home bored out of my mind. Have a great Tuesday evening you guys!
Until tomorrow!

Smoke Breaks and TV Talks
So, I think I'm getting sick or allergies or something. I seem to sniffling quite a bit, and it's getting on my nerves. So, please excuse that in the video blog.
But anyway, happy Monday guys! Today's been another uneventful day. These need to stop because I've stopped caring about my appearance a little bit. And by that, I just mean I haven't felt the need to shave the past few days. But that's enough to be a cause for concern, I think.
Anyway, I'm going to watch American Gladiators (only an hour tonight, not two like I say in the video. 8-9 on NBC) and I'll probably Tivo the Critic's Choice Awards because I figure that's going to have plenty of commercial breaks. You guys should watch both if you can. But you probably can't, because no one in the world has more free time than i do.
Anyway, tomorrow may not be job day because my brother might have the truck for baseball practice after school, so my mom won't have to stay after school forever waiting to go pick him up. I don't know what's going on yet. Either way, I'll check back in with you guys tomorrow!

1 Night, 2 Parties: The New Hampshire Debates
Happy Sunday, guys!
I don't know who watched the New Hampshire Debates last night, but I certainly did. Well, half of them anyway. I missed the Republicans, because I forgot they were on until shortly before 9:00.
I love watching the debates and I think everyone should get as involved as they can. But if you didn't watch it, not to worry. I filmed myself watching it, and have put some of the highlights into today's video blog.
Watch and learn!
Tonight, I'm "Amazingly Desperate" to watch Amazing Race and Desperate Housewives. I'm also Tivo-ing the new American Gladiators to see if it's any good. So, you guys have a great night, and I'll be back again tomorrow!

Welcome Home
So, I told you I would spend today's blog talking about my trip back to E City. I actually taped some stuff about the trip, and gave you guys a look at my room. I talked about school this semester. But it just didn't come together, so you guys will have to settle with reading about it...
The train ride was awful. I had my own seat for about 20 minutes before being moved to a different seat to open that for families. I was placed in the seat behind me next to a very obese man, and spent the next three and a half hours trying to get more than a few minutes of sleep. At the same time, I was completely up against the arm rest, trying to put some space between the two of us.
After arriving in Rocky Mount, where my mom met me, we spent a couple hours in the car getting back to Elizabeth City. Before going home, we had to go by COA (College of the Albemarle) so I could register for classes this semester. That took another couple hours, but I'm pretty happy with my schedule. I only go to class M/W/F from 10:00-1:00 for Public Speaking, Theatre Appreciation, and American History II. I also have General Psychology online. Yes, I'm only taking 12 hours. Leave me alone.
So, tonight is the night of the New Hampshire Debates. I missed the Republicans, but I'm watching the Democrats right now. Tomorrow, you will see my one-person debate party that's taking place in my brother's room (the only TV with cable that's not being used right now).
Until then, here's a video from last night, showing you guys what I do when I'm up late at night, and why I sleep right into the afternoon. Enjoy!

Happy New Year!!!
Here it is: the opening post of my blog. I've been thinking about doing for this for quite a while, and I just never did. But since moving home to Elizabeth City, I figured this was the time. I mean, it's not like my social agenda is chock full of other things to do.
I thought I would start my blog (at least, video wise) in Greensboro. It may seem counterintuitive for "The Boy from Lizzie City" to start somewhere other than Elizabeth City, but Greensboro is far more interesting. Plus, that's where all my friends are, so it just made sense to me.
So, first up are some videos from New Year's, which was the main reason I headed back to Greensboro for the first time since I left. I had an absolutely amazing time. I got to see just about everyone I wanted to, and it gave me a final chance to party and let loose before school started up again and blah blah blah.
Now, there's quite a bit of content here. It's about 30 minutes worth of Greensboro good times. Watch all of it or don't watch any of it; that's really up to you. But I'm tired, so I'm going to hit the hay pretty soon, and let the videos speak for themselves.
Enjoy! And I'll be back with more fun stuff for you guys tomorrow, including a run-down of my first day back in Elizabeth City (the train ride from hell AND registration for next semester!) I know you're just full of anticipation for that.
Alright, goodnight guys!
